SIRAG expertise and experience delivers international-standard services to its clients in its commitment to rid Iraq of explosive ordnance, restore dignity to the people of Iraq and boost the economy. Al-Sirag have worked continuously for 10 years – testament to their professionalism, reliability and success. They are the only national de-mining company in Iraq that combine experienced onshore and offshore capability, a 100% safety record and have successfully completed all projects on time and to budget. Al-Sirag is agile, fully compliant and internationally
accredited. It is one of the few companies in Iraq that has fully onshore and offshore accreditation through the Directorate of Mine Action (DMA) as well as full accreditation with the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Oil, Ministry of Transport and the Basra Oil Company (BOC). Al-Sirag operates in accordance with International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and our own Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Quality Management System (QMS). Our company is fully ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18001:2007 accredited and compliant and have our own Internal Auditor.
We strongly believe that our people are the backbone of Al-Sirag and fundamental to its success. We employ, invest and career manage over 150 motivated, talented local nationals and highly experienced expatriates. The list of disciplines includes surveying engineers, geologists, hydrographic surveyors, HSE engineers, logistics managers, procurement managers, economists, contracting specialists and other who through their ability to work in team, organizational skills and commitment are contributing to the successful implementation of the project.
